Hi, I'm new to all this.. just a silly question.. when they put out newer builds, will the update feature update it or is there somewhere i need to be goiing to get the latest builds?
Thanks!
John

Newer Builds
Generally newer builds are released as full iso's to be clean installed. There may be bugs and security issues fixed with updates from time to time but not like for a fully released product.

OK, new builds will be available only to MSDN, TechNet Plus and technical testers - *with the exception of* RC1 which will be available to you guys. Beta 2 (what you have at the moment) is feature-complete, which means they won't add anything extra, but might have to take bits out.
From now on in, you'll just see minor tweaks, such as little icons in the UI (the Personalisation menu looks all new and fuzzy!), performance tweaks and bug fixes.

So I assume bug fixes will come through the windows updates or do we need to go somewhere and download them when they are ready?
